The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) held its annual meeting last Sept. 23 to 27 at Los Angeles Convention and Exhibition Center. Various plastic surgeons from different states of America attended the meeting.
As with the previous meetings, the society focused on the latest trends and procedures in plastic surgery. The ASPS also include the latest information on plastic surgery and minimally invasive treatments and engaging top experts in this practice.
The ASPS Meeting featured presentations of board-certified plastic surgeons on breast augmentation, transgender surgery, procedure selection, plastic surgery for men, and more; exhibits of industry leaders on cutting-edge and treatments for plastic surgery; live testimonies from patients who undergone reconstruction procedures (before and after results); and a special area dedicated to life after breast cancer — breast reconstruction, and survivorship after the procedure.
In addition, plenty of exhibitors were present featuring the latest surgical equipment and technology.
The ASPS meeting draws in the top surgeons around the world. Houston plastic surgeon Dr. Patrick Hsu, CEO/Founder of Memorial Plastic Surgery, who attends the event every year, ran into many familiar faces including MD Anderson alumni’s, reconstructive surgeon Dr. Ergun Kocak of Midwest Breast & Aesthetic Surgery in Ohio;
and San Diego’s top plastic surgeon Dr. Vincent Marin of Marin Aesthetics
And before flying back to Houston, Dr. Hsu capped off a productive weekend in Los Angeles with a double-double with fries.
