SKIN TIGHTENING IN HOUSTON & WEBSTER, TX

Renuvion, powered by J-Plasma, is a high-performing skin tightening system used to treat face and body areas without the need for extensive surgery or large surgical scars. Using advanced technology, Renuvion condenses helium gas energy into a plasma beam to contract the fibers beneath the skin’s surface, stimulating the shrinkage of the skin. This minimally invasive treatment can be used on its own or combined with liposuction to achieve maximum results.

Our board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Patrick HsuDr. Kendall Roehl, and Dr. Vasileios Vasilakis, offer Renuvion J-Plasma to help both men and women achieve beautiful skin-tightening results at Memorial Plastic Surgery.

How Does Skin Tightening Work?

Renuvion combines the unique properties of helium plasma with the efficiency of radiofrequency energy to create a dual thermal effect. The result of this energy produces a great tightening treatment underneath the skin to achieve tighter, younger-looking skin.

How Is Renuvion J-Plasma Skin Tightening Performed?

Renuvion skin tightening can be performed under local or general anesthesia in an outpatient setting. This procedure usually takes about 1 hour per treatment area but may take longer if combined with liposuction or if the treatment area is large.

The tumescent solution will first be administered to the treatment areas, followed by liposuction if both procedures are combined. Your surgeon will then insert a thin probe to introduce Renuvion J-Plasma’s technology underneath the skin. The radiofrequency current flowing through the helium gas beam travels down the probe to stimulate the collagen and elastin in the underlying deep subcutaneous tissue while retracting the skin. This process is typically repeated in multiple passes to achieve maximum skin tightening in one session.
