A thigh lift performed at Memorial Plastic Surgery can make this notoriously problematic area both tight and slender. A thigh lift is right for you if you either have lost skin elasticity due to age have large amounts of loose, sagging skin in the thigh area due to extreme weight loss.

Do take note that since losing and gaining weight will affect your results, you need to be at a stable weight to be considered an ideal candidate for a thigh lift. You also need to be a non-smoker while being able to commit to a healthy diet and an exercise plan. That way, you can maintain the new look you’re entering into.

HOW IS A THIGH LIFT PROCEDURE PERFORMED?

Our board-certified plastic surgeons will perform your thigh lift under general anesthesia. This means you will be completely asleep and won’t feel a thing. The doctors will first sculpt your inner thighs by creating a precise incision. Often, liposuction is performed as an adjunct to further contour the thighs.

After awakening from the anesthesia, the healing process begins. Patients receive a complete list of “dos and don’ts” while receiving antibiotic prescriptions and anti-nausea medications.

To ensure the best possible results, we strongly recommend following pre-surgery and post-surgery instructions.
