We are proud to announce that our very own Dr. Kendall Roehl was featured as part of Ask Beauty Magazine’s New Beginnings issue. Focusing on resolutions, this edition of Ask Beauty Magazine encourages women to take time for self-reflection, prompting them to show others and themselves, most importantly, more love in this new year.
In her interview with the magazine, Dr. Roehl talked about her motivations for pursuing medical school. Her desire to help people and animals at a young age set her on this path, though unexpectedly, she shares she was not always keen on becoming a plastic surgeon. She found inspiration from a fellow surgeon specializing in breast reconstruction as her career progressed, and with the encouragement of her colleagues, she found her purpose and fell in love with the intricacies of the field.
As part of a brief Q&A, Dr. Roehl also shared her thoughts and expounds on some of the most popular body contouring procedures today: liposuction, abdominal etching, and tummy tuck, procedures that not only help a woman achieve her body goals but also improve her overall physical and emotional health.
Dr. Kendall Roehl earned a double major in Biology and Chemistry (summa cum laude) at Sam Houston State University. She later pursued medical school at the University of Texas Branch at Galveston where she finished at the top of her class.
She is a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The American Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, the Texas Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the Texas Medical Association. She has also worked as an academic surgeon and has published peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.
Today, Dr. Roehl leads the team at Memorial Clear Lake, performing life-changing breast reconstruction surgeries for patients from Houston, TX, and around the world daily. Visit Memorial Plastic Surgery to schedule a consultation with Dr. Roehl today.
