I’m 5’5 160lbs. I’ve always had broad shoulders butt and thighs but the breast area has always been small. I’ve been to six consultations with surgeons in the Houston area and finally found one that I felt most comfortable & I really connected with as far as my likes and dislikes. I have been researching getting a breast augmentation for about three years now. After three plastic surgeons and four consultations (I went to one doctor twice) I found the doctor for me Dr. Kendall Roehl of HPRS. I went to my consultation on Friday the 6th of March and after the weekend I knew that Houston Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery was the place for me. Everyone there is so friendly and extra welcoming.. Dr. Roehl was very informative on ALL of my options, I walked in there not as open minded but after seeing Dr. Roehl and much thinking I made a much better decision. So on today Monday the 9th of March I scheduled my procedure for Wednesday April 22nd. I am excited, nervous and all of the above. I go back on the 10th of April for my pre-op and to finalize everything. I will be sure to keep Realself posted throughout the process.

I am 30 years old and wasn’t worried about facial wrinkles until I looked into the mirror one morning and saw them on my face. After that, I kept on noticing them, and they seem to keep on appearing in different areas of my face like my neck and chin. After consulting with my husband, I decided to get a facelift. A few recommendations and office visits later, I came upon Dr. Roehl and her office. I went in for an initial consultation, and I wasn’t disappointed. Dr. Roehl was genuinely welcoming, and her office staff was so accommodating and well-mannered as well. My nervousness immediately disappeared as the consultation progressed. She patiently listened and made expert suggestions on how we can go about the facelift procedure. After her thorough evaluation, she explained to me everything I needed to know and made sure that I understood all the details down to the last information. When I woke up after the surgery, I felt a bit of the swelling, but Dr. Roehl reassured me that it was normal. She provided me with post-op instructions that I made sure to follow. Three months after my facelift and I couldn’t even know my age for sure. The result was exceptional! I look a lot younger than when I first stepped into Dr. Roehl’s office! I have nothing but praises for her and her excellent work. I could never thank her enough for making me look younger than ever.

I’ve always wanted bigger boobs but was not blessed with that gene. I’ve researched implants for 5 years and finally decided to have my surgery. I had my consultation with 4 other and Dr. Roehl was my last consult and I loved everything about her. I did not have to do any comparison or second guessing I know walking out of her office she was going to be my PS. After I scheduled my surgery on February 26, 2016, I did my sizing and Dr. Roehl was the only Dr. that advised that i would loss some volume and suggested that I go with the 450 CC Mentor moderate plus silicone instead of the 400 cc and I love them. After my surgery on March 4, 2016, I was huge and had lots of volume. I’m three weeks post-op and my boobs started dropping and you cannot tell that I had BA and that was the results I was looking for.

Early Life & Undergraduate Education
A native Texan through and through, Dr. Kendall Roehl was born in South Texas. Her family settled in Victoria, where she spent her formative years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Sam Houston State University with a double major in Biology and Chemistry.
Medical School
Dr. Roehl completed medical school at the University of Texas Branch at Galveston where she graduated at the top of her class. It was during this time that Dr. Roehl discovered the diversity and depth of plastic surgery.
Residency
Dr. Roehl extended her stay at Galveston to complete a comprehensive residency in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. This continued at MD Anderson, where she discovered her life’s calling to restore the bodies of breast cancer survivors.
Fellowship
Upon completing her residency, Dr. Roehl began a fellowship in reconstructive microsurgery at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. This enabled her to master free tissue transfer techniques and flap-based reconstruction on the breast and body.
Medical Career
After her fellowship, Dr. Roehl spent four years in academic medicine at both UTMB and Texas A&M Scott & White as an assistant professor. There, she cared for complex reconstructive issues and trained plastic surgery residents and medical students.
Upon returning to Houston in 2014, Dr. Roehl dedicated herself to serve her community. She worked in a private practice before joining the Memorial Plastic Surgery team, where she divides her time assisting its Memorial City office and leading its Clear Lake office. It is her privilege to make her patients feel complete again in a safe and intimate environment.

Currently, Dr. Roehl serves as an executive board member at The Rose, a Houston-based organization that provides low-income women access to breast cancer treatment. In addition to the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), and the American Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery (ASRM), Dr. Roehl is an active member of the Texas Society of Plastic Surgery (TSPS), Texas Medical Association (TMA), American Medical Association (AMA) and other medical societies.
Academic Success
Dr. Roehl’s work as an academic surgeon allowed her to train medical students and residents. She has shared her knowledge in a number of presentations and lectures across the country to a crowd of international peers. She has written many peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
Personal Life
Away from the office, Dr. Roehl enjoys cooking and wine and keeps herself fit through running and cross-fitting. She is a devoted mother to her two children, Kannon Reid and Knox Adda, and a supportive wife to her husband, David Mills.
